The Randolph Police Department focuses on servicing all members of our diverse community.  We facilitate safety first service with professionalism, empathy, and courtesy.  We prioritize serving and protecting while seeking partnerships with the community to solve problems together as we pivot with the changing times.

Law Enforcement

Law enforcement is provided for the City of Randolph by their own police officer with back up services provided by the Cedar County Sheriff & Nebraska State Patrol.  Patrol of our community is provided daily by our Police Chief and Part Time Police Officer which includes enforcement of our ordinances.  This includes speeding, parking and public nuisance properties and any ordinances out of city code.

Sirens

The signal for a tornado warning is one long-high pitched siren. Please take cover immediately.  There is no all clear siren sounded.  The fire/rescue siren is approximately 3 minutes up/down waver.

City has a non-emergency whistle: sounded Monday – Saturday at 7 am, 12 Noon, 1 pm, and 6 pm. The 6pm whistle is deactivated Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend when the parks and recreation areas are most used.

Parking Policies

Vehicles impeding snow removal may be towed or ticketed after 24 hours at the owner’s expense.

The City is NOT responsible for clearing residential driveways or sidewalks.
