Aaron Nielsen, Utility Supt. for the City of Randolph and Ben Benton City Administrator coordinated with Dwayne Schutt owner of BoBo’s Express Trucking the pickup and delivery of the Red Ball Diamond Aglime for our City ball fields. Six semi-trucks pulled into the high school parking lot around 12:30 pm Tuesday. The trucks and drivers were: 2 from Bobo’s Express driven by Dwayne Schutt with trailer provided by Mike Strathman, Michael Schutt-BoBo’s with trailer provided by Brett Haisch, one truck and trailer by Luke Stueckrath-local farmer and trucking, one truck and trailer by Dan Haselhorst-local farmer and trucking, one truck driven by Derek Kuhl-local businessman with truck provided by Korth Trucking and trailer by Andy Nordhues, and one truck and trailer by Brett Haisch- trucker and farmer from Laurel who also drives for BoBo’s Express.
On hand to help with the unloading process were Aaron Nielsen and TJ Lackas from the City of Randolph and two strong high school students Tyson Junck and AJ Blickinstaff. Special thanks from the City of Randolph and our Park Board to these individuals and businesses for helping with this project and taking time from their regular business operations. Julie King, Park Board Member, stated that this project had been funded through a grant that was received for our City Park Ball Fields. The Park Board was very grateful to be able to make these arrangements for delivery with local business owners and citizens from our community.
