The annual State Wide Tornado Drill is at 11 a.m. on March 24, 2021. (Actual Severe Weather anywhere in the State or a significant potential for severe weather may impact the timing of the drill)
We will treat the Tornado drill just as we would a live situation. Fire and EMS pagers will be activated, Outdoor warning sirens will be activated, etc..
Cedar County Emergency Management encourages everyone to review your plans on what to do during a Severe Weather Event.

Health Officials still caution us that we are still in the middle of the Pandemic. Face coverings and social/physical distancing when seeking shelter are still highly recommended.
Please help to spread the word so that the Public is not alarmed when we test sirens the day of the drill.
